Earth Dialogues:

The Earth Dialogues are a series of public discussion forums that bring together society: scientists, politicians, businessmen, and representatives of civil and religious organizations, to search for sustainable solutions. These dialogues seek to resolve the most pressing and interconnected challenges of insecurity, poverty, and environmental degradation.

Launched in 2002 by Mikhail Gorbachev and Maurice Strong, the Secretary-General of the 1992 Earth Summit and Chairman of the Earth Council, the Earth Dialogues represent an integrated strategy to develop and promote a more sustainable way of living.

The overall approach of the events is solutions-oriented, consensus-seeking, and aimed at sharing best practices and success stories from local, regional and global experiences. The events are carried out carbon compensation so that it did not add CO2 to the environment.
