G+UK in COP 26.
The COP 26 climate summit in Glasgow has come to a close and we are delighted to share Ruy Campos Dugone’s point of view regarding the assessment of outcomes from this event.
We participated in:
- Climate Finance – opportunities to support mitigation and adaptation actions that will address climate change.
- Blockchain – specific uses that can significantly improve the transparency, accountability, and traceability of climate action.
- Resilience and adaptation – multilateralism to support adaptation and loss and damage.
One day before our Side Event we are thrilled to tell you that we are ready for our COP 26 Side Event: Earth Dialogues for Climate & Finance.
The Earth Dialogues are a series of public forums that bring together civil society and the private and public sectors in the search for solutions to resolve the most pressing and interconnected challenges of insecurity, poverty, and environmental degradation.
The overall approach of the event launched in 2002 by Mikhail Gorbachev and Maurice Strong, is solutions-oriented, consensus-seeking, and aimed at sharing best practices and success stories from local, regional and global experiences.
Besides the representation of an integrated strategy to develop and promote a more sustainable way of living. We are going to award the leading Institutions around the globe.
We kindly invite you to check the following video as an overview of the event:
